NTFS or Fat32
I just recently added another HD with an NTFS fat(?) The other 3 drives are Fat32. The problem is the drive with the NTFS use to be a primary drive on someone else's system. There are several directories I cannot delete. What is the best way to delete these dirs? Or should I just format the disk?

Mixing NTFS/FAT file systems for NT/DOS...
Does anyone know of a method to convert back to FAT? (Other than reformatting and reloading) There is no method, using the software that comes with NT, to convert from NTFS to FAT. If there is any third-party stuff out there, I don't know about it either. Backup, reformat, and restore looks like your only choice.

When I try the same on a NTFS-drive I get the message, that convert is no available for NTFS-drives. Not a single word of wrong switch or anything like that. The maximum drive size for NTFS is much greater than that for FAT, and as drive size increases, performance with NTFS doesn't degrade as it does with FAT.
